Bridgewater Community, a premier senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to support the daily upkeep of our beautiful campus and help create a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. This role is for a reliable, hands-on professional who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and takes pride in their work. The position offers variety in the day and a role where skills truly make a difference.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents and staff
Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance and repairs throughout the community
- Help maintain resident apartments and common areas
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support the Maintenance Director with projects and daily tasks
- Ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained
