About The Position

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with on-call duty every other weekend. The wage is $19.00 per hour. The role is based at 1601 St Louis Ave, Duluth, Minnesota 55802.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and drive to provide quality service.
• Solid computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask, stay on task, and maintain focus in stressful situations.

Nice To Haves

• Boiler license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular facility inspections for safety, upkeep, appearance, and equipment performance.
• Schedule maintenance and repairs and ensure they are completed.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs and ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashion.
• Maintain records of repairs, preventive maintenance, warranties, and inspections.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with state and federal requirements and OSHA standards.
• Be available on call for emergency situations.
