About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant helps maintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas. The role supports a variety of repairs and maintenance work, responds to guest service requests and team-member work orders, assists with preventive maintenance inspections, and documents completed work and issues requiring further attention. The position calls for a hospitality-focused approach guided by integrity, teamwork, ownership, leadership, and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Quickly respond to guest service requests and team-member work orders.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs.
• Document completed inspections and repairs, and flag issues that require further attention.
