Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in construction or maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience preferred
Long-term care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Plans, schedules, supervises, delegates and participates in maintenance and repair work, including, but not limited to, masonry, carpentry, painting, gardening, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and heating; monitors staff for completion of work on a timely basis.
Establishes a preventative maintenance schedule and recommends building equipment improvements.
Keeps accurate records of equipment and maintenance performance.
Performs periodic maintenance audits of building, grounds, facility and equipment.
Conducts routine tests of various systems and equipment, including, but not limited to, emergency generator, fire alarm, sprinkler system, hood and duct system, door alarms, call lights and hot water system.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
