About The Position
Parc at Traditions, a Sonida Senior Living community in Bryan, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant. The community provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role performs daily general maintenance throughout the building, responds to resident requests through the work order program, inspects public-area lighting, maintains storage and equipment areas, and completes painting projects in common and office areas.
Requirements
- Familiarity with techniques for minor repair and maintenance of structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and heating and cooling systems is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in janitorial or maintenance work is preferred.
- Experience in building safety and hazard reduction is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Respond to resident maintenance requests through the established work order program, repairing plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
- Conduct daily inspections of public-area light bulbs and ensure they are operable.
- Perform daily general building maintenance involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment issues.
- Maintain organization of storage and equipment areas.
- Complete daily and assigned painting projects in common and office areas.
