About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of repair and general maintenance tasks for the facility, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting. Seasonal tasks like mowing and snow removal are also part of the job. The position requires routine maintenance checks, upkeep of various equipment (air compressors, vacuum pumps, boilers, mowers, snow blowers), and ensuring the proper functioning of facility systems like HVAC and lighting. Interior maintenance includes moving furniture, cleaning fixtures and ducts, operating floor equipment, and general janitorial duties. The role also supports the development and construction of tooling and workstations, which may involve carpentry and basic welding. Adherence to safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment are essential.

Requirements

Perform repair or general maintenance work of the facility, grounds and equipment including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting tasks as needed.
Mowing of grass & Snow removal as seasonably needed.
Perform routine Facility Maintenance Checklists.
Maintenance of Air Compressors and Vacuum Pumps, where applicable.
Maintenance of Boiler, where applicable.
Maintain the temperature, humidity, and airflow of facilities that have those requirements.
Outside maintenance of various KMM facility yards & flowers/trees.
Maintenance of KMM mowers, snow blowers and any other such equipment or tools necessary to perform effectively the required functions.
Perform Vehicle maintenance to documented schedules.
Ensure that outside lights are set and working to provide safe and well lighted parking areas.
Verify that all outside electrical outlets are functioning properly.
Perform maintenance on all roof top units and other heating/cooling units to a documented schedule; which may include filters as applicable.
Maintenance of facility interiors. This could include but not limited to: Moving equipment and/or furniture as needed, Assist in the cleaning of lighting fixtures and ventilation ducts, Maintaining & operating floor equipment such as buffers and floor cleaning machines, Perform cleaning and janitorial functions as needed such as; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Assist in the development and construction of tooling, workstations and any items needed to assist in the elimination of waste throughout the facility. This could include but is not limited to: Carpentry Tasks, Basic Welding, Designing and Building various tooling in the production area.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by job tasks.
Adhere to all KMM safety policies and procedures, as well as adhering to the manufacturer recommendations on operation of all equipment and tools.
This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
