About The Position

Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This role is responsible for the upkeep of the hotel property and will assist the Chief Engineer. The hotel is a 124 all-suites property located near the University of Central Florida, offering amenities such as in-suite kitchens, an outdoor saline pool, and a fitness center. The hotel is managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing buildings.
• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills required.
• Ability to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Requires reaching overhead, climbing, crouching, and twisting.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Assist with pool operations and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor grounds.
• Maintain and service pool and spa areas, including testing and recording as per regulations.
• Clean internal areas of buildings, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal.
• Maintain cleanliness of public and storage areas, as well as the parking lot.
