About The Position
JOIN THE CARING TEAM AT ST. AGNES HOME IN KIRKWOOD AS A FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT! WORK ALONGSIDE THE WONDERFUL CARMELITE SISTERS IN A PEACEFUL, FAMILY-ORIENTED ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY WHERE RESIDENTS AND STAFF ARE TRULY VALUED. HELP CREATE A SAFE, COMFORTABLE HOME WHILE MAKING A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Excellent observation skills
- Can follow written and verbal instructions
- A valid driver’s license & vehicle with insurance
- Can pass a criminal background check & drug test
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Facility repairs: carpentry, roofing, flooring, painting, and plumbing fixes
- System maintenance: Keep air conditioning, electrical, generators, freezers, and fire alarms running smoothly
- Fleet & grounds: Maintain golf carts, vehicles, mowers, and facility landscaping
- Power tool mastery: Safely operate electric saws, drills, chainsaws, and Hilti/Ramset guns
- Safety first: Strictly follow chemical handling, storage, and preparation guidelines
