About The Position

St. Joseph Residence, in Manchester, NH, is a home where we care for the Presentation of Mary Sisters. We offer short- and long-term care in a faith-based environment where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care. We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance/Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This position includes every other weekend and is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities. Our ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Candidates should have some general maintenance experience and be willing to float between maintenance projects and housekeeping duties as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic maintenance skills and willingness to perform housekeeping duties as needed
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong customer service skills with compassion and respect for our residents
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance
• Help maintain heating and cooling equipment as directed
• Replace light bulbs and complete general building upkeep
• Maintain the grounds and outdoor areas as needed
• Work closely with nursing and other departments to provide exceptional service to residents
• Perform daily housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas
