Maintenance Assistant/ Floor Technician

We are looking for Maintenance Assistants (Floor Techs) to become part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team! Floor Techs Full Time and Part Time on Weekends. The Maintenance Assistant will support the and assist in development and implement the communities’ maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Requirements
- Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment (minimum of 1 year); preferably in long term care
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Take pride in providing high quality care
- High school diploma or GED
- Hospital or healthcare experience for at least 1 year in maintenance a plus
