Maintenance Assistant/ Floor Technician

The company is seeking Maintenance Assistants (Floor Techs) to join its compassionate care-giving team. This role involves supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of the community’s maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs, in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Requirements
- Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Take pride in providing high quality care
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Technical school achievement a plus
- Hospital or healthcare experience for at least 1 year in maintenance a plus
- Preferably in long term care
