About The Position

The Maintenance & Support Associate is responsible for maintaining the bank's facilities in a clean, safe, and professional condition while providing operational support across departments as needed. This position primarily focuses on building maintenance, groundskeeping, and general upkeep but also serves as a flexible team member who can assist with teller duties, customer service, administrative tasks, and other bank operations when staffing needs arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with bank policies and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous maintenance, custodial, facilities, or general labor experience preferred.
  • Customer service, cash handling, or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to bank facilities, equipment, and grounds.
  • Maintain cleanliness of branch interiors, parking lots, walkways, and landscaping.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
  • Monitor and replenish facility supplies.
  • Assist with branch setup for meetings, events, and seasonal needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Cross-train in teller and customer service functions.
  • Serve as a backup teller during peak periods, employee absences, or emergencies.
  • Process basic customer transactions accurately and efficiently when assigned.
  • Assist customers by directing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Support administrative and operational tasks, including filing, document preparation, and record maintenance.
  • Provide support to other departments and branch personnel as assigned.
