About The Position

The Maintenance and Operations Worker maintains grounds and amenities at County parks, buildings, and schools, following established procedures and guidelines. Work may include turf, athletic field, landscape, and park amenity maintenance. The role may occasionally involve operating County vehicles to transport tools, materials, and personnel to worksites. This is a 7-day-per-week operation. The typical workday is 7.5 hours, Monday through Friday, with some rotating weekend requirements. The schedule is generally 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with slight variations in start and stop times. The hiring salary is $19.41 per hour.

Requirements

8th grade education.
0–12 months of related experience.
Valid driver's license.
Pass a pre-employment physical examination.
Pass a background check.
Be at least 18 years of age.
