About The Position

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. Website Summary Trak group is partnering with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. This leadership role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and developing preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven maintenance leader with a strong background in reliability engineering, asset management, and team development who can partner effectively with Operations and Engineering to improve overall plant performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated success leading maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in reliability engineering and asset management.
  • Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and maintenance cost management.
  • Experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
  • Ability to drive accountability and measurable improvements in maintenance performance.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience partnering with Operations and Engineering.
  • Results-oriented leadership style with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance organization supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve asset reliability, equipment availability, uptime, and maintenance cost performance.
  • Establish and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Identify recurring equipment failures and drive solutions that reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and implement improvements to increase plant reliability and productivity.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Drive maintenance best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead change-management efforts designed to strengthen maintenance processes and performance.
  • Develop, mentor, coach, and hold accountable a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Build strong relationships across Operations, Engineering, and the maintenance organization.
  • Effectively lead and collaborate within a unionized workforce environment.
  • Promote a culture of urgency, accountability, safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
