About The Position

Supports Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group ONE (EODGRU ONE) N43 Materiel Department in the management and oversight of the Maintenance and Material Management (3M) Program for the headquarters and subordinate Echelon V commands and VI units of action.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Department of War (DOW), Department of the Navy (DON), U.S. Fleet Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet and TYCOM regulations, procedures, and requirements relative to 3M Program.
  • Knowledge of expeditionary TOAs, their development, maintenance, and application to equipping.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other specialized DOW/DON software applications with ability to develop spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and briefings.
  • Familiarity with the NAVFAC TOA Viewer database, Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) / Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Configuration Data Managers Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) Casualty Report (CASREP) Generator, Organizational Maintenance Management System – Next Generation (OMMS-NG), METBENCH Management System (MCMS), and SKED PMS Scheduler.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral - with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively present facts, recommendations, and reports in a clear and manner, succinctly or in detail, to various audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, formulate, and draft required 3M administrative products to support EODGRU ONE and subordinate command 3M program management.
  • Assist the EODGRU ONE 3M Coordinator with the planning, organizing, execution, and analysis of 3M Program-related training, inspections, assist visits, and evaluations.
  • Analyze Maintenance Data System (MDS) submissions for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness; revise, as required.
  • Distribute 3M documentation to subordinate commands; ensure command managers implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure 3M documents reflect equipment inventories to ensure resourcing and Consolidated Shipboard/Shore based Allowance List (COSAL) integrity is maintained.
  • Analyze EOD Table of Allowance and organizational preventive maintenance requirements to ensure documentation supports current equipment; ensure appropriate changes to preventive maintenance documentation are made, as required.
  • Contribute to Allowance Part List (APL) development and conduct research to identify economic maintenance opportunities.
  • Document and analyze Group-level 3M processes to include MDS, Planned Maintenance System (PMS), COSAL validation, inventory validation, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) opportunities.
  • Conduct required demand research and identify equipment that requires a Repairable Identification Code (RIC); coordinate development of the RIC with the Type Commander (TYCOM) or appropriate Systems Command (SYSCOM) via the N43 Materiel Officer.
  • Review and forward for approval all EODGRU ONE Feedback Reports.
