Resolves complex technical issues for Truist's Network applications. This role involves performing problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues, including programming and debugging. The engineer will respond to incidents and service tickets in a timely manner, analyze technical issue trends, and develop recommendations for long-term improvements. Documentation of interactions and resolution steps is required. The role involves occasional contact with end-users and communication of issue resolution status to internal customers. Engagement and management of outside vendors may also be required. The position requires in-depth knowledge of application support and best practices, and typically involves leading moderately complex projects while participating in larger initiatives. The engineer will solve complex technical and operational problems and act as a resource for less experienced teammates. There may be people management responsibilities for a small team.
