About The Position

This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial. The candidate should possess thorough knowledge of the Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality. The ability to provide configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software is required. Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques, as well as tools and utilities to support DB2, is necessary. The candidate must be able to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings. The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving, and debugging support, interfacing with application developers as well as client personnel, is also required.

Requirements

• Mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, IMS, and JCL.
• Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality (7 Years Experience).
• Experience providing configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software (7 Years Experience).
• Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques (7 Years Experience).
• Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2 (7 Years Experience).
• Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries (7 Years Experience).
