About The Position

This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
• Ability to provide configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
• Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2.
• Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings.
• Ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving, and debugging support, interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in thorough knowledge of the Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in providing configuration management and release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the ability to evaluate complex SQL queries.
