About The Position

This role supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of print-related products and services on the mainframe platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced engineers on coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and system improvements while building expertise in z/OS, PLX, and Assembler. The position requires a detail-oriented, process-driven professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Professional experience in software development, system/product design, and integration.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, complete work.
Ability to document technical issues, decisions, and solutions thoroughly.
Willingness to develop deep expertise in mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support print-related products and services on the mainframe platform.
Assist with coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting mainframe applications.
Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, document findings, and implement guided fixes.
Support enhancements to existing print processes and workflows.
Participate in code reviews and technical/design discussions.
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support print services.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of systems, processes, issues, decisions, and solutions.
Build expertise in z/OS, PLX, Assembler, and other mainframe technologies.
Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and team efficiency.
Review code and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Apply established software development, testing, and documentation practices.
Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Work effectively in a team environment through hands-on learning and mentorship.
