About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 5+ years of experience in application programming and analysis. The role involves developing and supporting mainframe applications, with a strong emphasis on COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare payer functions and experience with the full software development life cycle. This is a remote contract position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of application programming and analysis experience
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC
- Experience with mainframe application development and support
- Understanding of healthcare payer functions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with the full software development life cycle
- Ability to work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements
