About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in IMS DB2 and Mainframe Application Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, enhancing, and supporting mission-critical applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in IMS DB2 and Mainframe Application Development.
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, IMS, and DB2.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience developing and enhancing online and batch processing applications.
• Experience creating and optimizing DB2 queries, stored procedures, and database access strategies.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and supporting IMS databases and transaction processing systems.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Retail Banking, Cards, Payments, or Insurance domains.
• Exposure to Mainframe modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with tools such as Endevor, Changeman, FileAID, AbendAID, and Syncsort.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and SQL optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, IMS, and DB2.
