This is a contract staff augmentation opportunity with an Arizona state agency. The selected candidate will work directly with agency staff in a professional environment.

Previous experience in Mainframe data conversion (This must be on Resume)

Informatica Expert
SQL Server Expert
10+ years of overall data integration / ETL experience.
5+ years of experience in Mainframe to modern platform data migrations.
Strong experience migrating data from IBM Mainframe environments.
Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, COBOL, COBOL copybooks, JCL, flat files, and legacy data structures.
Deep understanding of hierarchical vs. relational data structures and mainframe-to-relational conversion techniques.
Expert-level hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Strong proficiency in SQL Server development.
Hands-on experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, SQL scripts, and performance tuning.
Experience using SQL Server as a staging, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation platform.
Solid experience with Salesforce data migration.
Experience loading data into Salesforce Service Cloud and custom Salesforce objects.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, Salesforce APIs, Salesforce Connect, and External Objects.
Strong experience creating source-to-target mappings.
Ability to design and document data mapping documents and transformation rules.
Experience mapping mainframe data sources to Salesforce objects.
Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transformation logic.
Experience with data profiling, data quality assessment, cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment.
Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks and tools.
Experience leading large-scale data conversion or legacy modernization projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional business and technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration - OR - Master's degree in Business or Public Administration
Currently located in Phoenix AZ or surrounding areas
US Citizen or Green Card holder - no sponsorship needed now or ever
Pay rate of $69.77/hr W2 or $80.24/hr 1099 acceptable
Available for in-person interview within 1 week and start within 2 weeks

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end legacy data conversion projects from discovery through go-live and hypercare.
Build, optimize, and maintain ETL processes for extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
Develop and execute data validation, reconciliation, and cutover plans.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance during large-scale data conversion.
Mentor junior team members.
Establish and enforce data conversion best practices, standards, and governance.
Provide project status updates, risks, issues, and progress reports to stakeholders.
Work closely with Salesforce architects and developers to support efficient data loading.
