About The Position

Gresham Subaru is seeking a skilled Main Shop Technician to join their rapidly growing, fast-paced, and growth-focused team. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop setting
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented and willing to learn and grow
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license
• A clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications or manufacturer certifications preferred
• Subaru certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Communicate with service advisors and fellow technicians regarding status and repairs needed
• Keep up with manufacturer training and certifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
