Full-Time Main Bar Bartender/Cocktail Server
About The Position
Cherokee Town & Country Club, a premier private club, is seeking an exceptional Bartender/Cocktail Server to join their team in a newly renovated entertainment space. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase bartending skills, connect with members, and build a rewarding career in a supportive and professional environment. The position features a steady, non-tipped income of $23.50/hour, a balanced schedule with Sundays and Mondays off, and bar closing at 11 pm. Responsibilities extend beyond the Main Bar to include representing Cherokee at special events, weddings, and private parties.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in high-end restaurants, bars, or hospitality venues.
- Strong cocktail, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Confidence, professionalism, and the ability to run the bar with both grace and excitement.
- A balance of technical bartending skills and genuine hospitality—you know your craft, but you also know how to connect.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Presenting two cocktails of their choice and preparing four classic cocktails on the spot during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Hybrid role of bartender and cocktail serving in partnership with Lead Mixologist and Cocktail server to ensure seamless service during both high-energy rushes (5-7pm) and quieter periods.
- Deliver a warm welcome to members and guests, exceeding expectations with a winning personality.
- Bartend with creativity and precision (40%), while focusing on hospitality, conversation, and connection (60%).
- Craft timeless classics—martinis, old fashioneds, wines—while adding innovative touches with fresh garnishes, house-made syrups, and unique twists.
- Elevate the beverage experience with proper wine service, cocktail preparation, and presentation.
- Curate selections from one of the finest bourbon collections in the world (and if we don’t have it, we’ll get it).
- Bring energy, personality, and professionalism to the bar, creating memorable moments for our members.
