About The Position

Responsible for meeting all required exchanges for all cages for the duration of the shift and assist the Cage Supervisor in overseeing the cage operations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to constantly lift, carry, and move up to forty (40) pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and grip throughout shift.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder height, handle, push, pull, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, grip, crouch, twist, and bend for duties.
  • Must be able to travel to or work at all CDS properties or any other events necessary for this specific role.
  • Must be able to follow both verbal and written directions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with all guests, team members, and internal/external vendors positively and professionally.
  • Must be able to work in environments with high noise levels, flashing lights, smoking areas, and large crowds.
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure/fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including skill to perform the varied transactions cited above.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.

  • Ability to pass a math test (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of high-volume cash handling experience, including operation of a 10-key machine.
  • Must be able to work (may require shift changes), weekends, holidays, and special events), as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain, and retain a valid gaming license/background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous casino Cage experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of tribal policies and procedures and Arizona Gaming rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of Casino games.

Responsibilities

  • Balances assigned bank accurately.
  • Makes exchanges for guests of currency, coins, and money equivalents in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Operates the main bank and reserve bank.
  • Verifies all hard and soft count drops.
  • Maintains a cash and coin reserve for cages.
  • Develops cash and coin deposits for the Revenue unit.
  • Handles all even exchanges from all cage windows and Satellite banks.
  • Maintains an impress bank, ensuring the replenishment of all impress banks on the floor during assigned shift.
  • Perform drop, replenish d balance all ATM’s and ticket kiosk machines.
  • Perform kiosk drop and count procedures in accordance with gaming and company regulations and departmental policies.
  • Monitors the inventory team to meet even exchange requests.
  • Loads and unloads kiosks as required to include processing and generating tickets and reports.
  • Participates in the cassette currency loading and sealing.
  • Oversees all cage exchanges on assigned shift.
  • Assists cashiers in the performance of their duties, as needed.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
  • Participates in the training of cashiers.
  • Acts as Cage Supervisor when one is not available.
  • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
