About The Position

The Mailroom Document Processor is responsible for handling incoming mail, preparing documents, and scanning them into digital systems in a high-volume production environment. This role combines mailroom clerical duties with document imaging responsibilities and is essential to maintaining efficient and accurate document workflows. Imagenet is a leading provider of healthcare technology services nationwide, offering back-office support technology and tech-enabled outsourced services to healthcare plans. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn scanning systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Receive, open, and sort incoming mail
  • Identify and categorize healthcare-related documents
  • Prepare documents for scanning (remove staples, paper clips, repair pages, organize batches)
  • Operate high-speed scanning equipment to digitize documents
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on scanners (e.g., clearing jams, reloading paper)
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and clarity of scanned images
  • Perform basic data entry and indexing as needed
  • Maintain organization and proper handling of sensitive and confidential documents
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
  • Assist with general mailroom and clerical tasks
