Mailroom Associate – JLL What this job involves: As a Mailroom Associate at JLL, you'll be the vital connection keeping our Reston, Virginia client site running smoothly. This hands-on role combines mail operations, facility support, and white-glove customer service to ensure seamless daily operations. You'll manage everything from incoming packages to supply replenishment, serving as a key resource for building occupants while maintaining the professional environment our clients expect. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of related experience in mailroom operations, facility support, or similar service-oriented roles
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable personal transportation
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence with ability to deliver white-glove service standards
  • Physical capability to remain on feet for extended periods and regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet same-day deadlines
  • Self-motivated work style with exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Corrigo facility management software or similar work order systems
  • Experience operating reprographic equipment including copiers, printers, and related office technology
  • Familiarity with shipping carrier systems and postage meter operations
  • Background in corporate office environments or professional building settings
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for common office equipment issues.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and courier packages on the same day of receipt, ensuring timely delivery to building occupants
  • Process outgoing shipments through multiple carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS), applying correct postage and managing mail stop pickups throughout the facility
  • Maintain supply inventory across the site by stocking copy rooms, printing devices, and breakrooms with necessary materials while ensuring cleanliness standards
  • Service reprographic equipment by responding to paper jams, replacing interchangeable parts, and troubleshooting basic operational issues
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify and log building maintenance needs through Corrigo work order system, responding to assigned tickets within established timeframes
  • Track and document daily workflow activities on volume reports, submitting weekly summaries to your Lead for operational oversight
  • Provide employee move services and complete additional facility support tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager.
