About The Position

Broadridge is hiring a Mail Processing Clerk at its South Windsor, Connecticut location. The role ensures daily operational workflow by moving mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks. The position reports to a supervisor. The clerk prepares trays and loads for shipment in accordance with USPS and company standards, operates a pallet jack, monitors job quality, and completes job-related documentation. The role may also involve resolving issues with diverted trays and performing simple ACL repairs, such as clearing jams. The employee must follow work instructions, departmental procedures, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Ability to stand and work throughout assigned shifts, including 12-hour shifts.
Ability to pull, push, and lift up to 70 pounds.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime based on volume needs.
Attention to detail, sound judgment, and prioritizing skills.
Ability to adhere to quality standards.
Ability to take direction and work with a sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a production environment, including knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation.
Experience operating material insert machines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer skills.

Responsibilities

Move mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks to maintain daily operational workflow.
Sleeve and bundle trays according to USPS and company standards.
Place trays on pallets, shrink-wrap loads, and use a pallet jack to move pallets and load trucks.
Follow detailed work instructions and maintain the optimal workflow pace for operating conditions.
Monitor quality throughout each job and complete all required job documentation.
Research and resolve problems resulting from diverted trays, as needed.
Perform simple repairs on the ACL, such as clearing jams, as needed.
Follow departmental and safety procedures.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned.
