About The Position

The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution Tech 4 processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution tech 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. Work in a mail-order distribution center in a non-customer facing role. Manage workflow, distribute work assignments, and monitor progress towards schedules/goals. Manage daily priorities for the team and/or external vendors. Analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development. Comply with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Report on production. Lead occasional meetings and participate in some leadership meetings.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience in a retail, mail order or clinical pharmacy
• 1 - 5 years of leadership experience

Nice To Haves

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• National Certification - CPhT (PTCB or ExCPT)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a mail order/distribution environment
