This role is responsible for operating high-level mail equipment in a high-speed, high-volume production environment. Key functions include packaging, posting, fulfillment, and generating charge-back reporting. The position involves executing production mail labeling, mail merge processes, and address cleansing using specialized software. It also requires coordinating automated and manual finishing, mailing, and distribution processes, as well as implementing and maintaining mail distribution, tracking, and reporting systems. The role involves updating mailing address databases, conducting barcode address quality reviews, and managing electronic input files and packaging operations. The individual will identify and recommend process improvements, serve as the primary contact for unique mailings, and utilize material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include receiving, sorting, processing, and distributing mail and packages, performing scheduled mail pickup and delivery runs, recording and processing accountable mail, tracking and resolving delivery issues, preparing shipments, performing quality assurance checks, processing electronic mail distribution, and performing fulfillment activities. Security procedures and package tracking protocols must be followed, and incoming mail and packages processed using barcode tracking or scanning. Fax transmission management, automated shipping and receiving systems, and supply monitoring are also part of the role. The position requires arranging alternative courier solutions and operating, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintaining mail and shipping equipment.
