Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Medical Card required
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as Forklift (We'll train)
Responsibilities
- Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Complete Pre-Trip before start of shift
- Pick-up/drop-off loads & ensure Mail is ALWAYS secured
- Communicate with Supervisor/Manager
- Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
- Loading mail from the Post Office into your assigned truck
- Transporting it safely to our warehouse
- Unloading it upon arrival
- Load outgoing mail from our warehouse
- Deliver it back to the Post Office according to scheduled routes and timelines
