About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking a mail delivery driver/mail carrier for a United States Postal Service mail route in Canadian, Texas. The route starts on 11/14/2026. The contractor provides their own qualifying vehicle and delivers mail and packages along an assigned 37-mile route, totaling 74 miles per day. The position is described as full-time, six days per week, Monday through Saturday, including some federal holidays. The estimated schedule is 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., or seven hours a day or less. Compensation is $210 per day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly.

Requirements

• Have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Reside in Canadian, Texas, or a neighboring town or city.
• Provide a qualifying vehicle: a minivan or cargo van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity and less than five years old.
• Have minimum liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Former USPS employees or contractors are highly recommended.
• A minivan or cargo van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo space and no center console is recommended for passenger-side mailbox delivery; the route may be difficult without this feature but is still possible.
• Be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel.
• Dismount as required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other required administrative duties.
