About The Position

Landis Homes is seeking a Part-Time Mail Clerk to join our team in Lititz, PA. This role is responsible for assisting with the delivery of mail and packages throughout the campus, ensuring accuracy in placement, and serving as a liaison for mail delivery services. The position also involves assisting with the orientation of new employees and volunteers involved in mail delivery, picking up and delivering mail from the USPS, and maintaining the safe operation of company vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing skills required.
• Maintains current valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assists with delivery of mail and packages throughout campus.
• Ensures accuracy with placement of mail items in designated mailboxes throughout Landis Homes.
• Functions as liaison for any needs, changes, modifications or requests for mail delivery service including forwarding, holding and transferring of mail in the absence of the Mail Coordinator.
• Assists with orientation of employees and volunteers who perform mail delivery in partnership with the Volunteer Services department.
• Picks up and delivers mail and packages, including signing for certified mail, at the USPS office.
• Maintains safe operation and handling of Landis Homes' vehicles.
• Reports vehicle maintenance needs and requests fuel as needed.
