About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants to deliver mail on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route in the Woodstock, NY area. This role involves sorting, loading, and delivering mail and parcels along a designated route, as well as performing other administrative duties. Applicants must meet specific age, residency, and vehicle requirements, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age
• Valid New York driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the Woodstock, NY area
• Must furnish a dependable vehicle that meets postal regulations and provides 240 cubic feet of usable load space (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• Responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have a criminal background history that meets USPS standards

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 556 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned 71.7-mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties
