About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants to deliver mail part-time (short hours) on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route in the Preble, NY area. This role involves delivering mail and parcels along an assigned route, sorting mail, loading the delivery vehicle, and performing other administrative duties as required. Applicants must meet specific vehicle and insurance requirements and will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs. The position offers an hourly wage plus vehicle reimbursement and benefits paid as cash equivalency.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid New York driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the Preble, NY area
• Furnish a dependable vehicle (Mini-Van or Equivalent) that meets postal regulations and provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels
• Provide $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
• Meet postal driving requirements

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 318 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned 27.7-line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required
