About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a part-time Mail Carrier position on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route in the Watford City, ND area. This role involves delivering mail along an assigned route, sorting mail, loading the delivery vehicle, and handling parcels and accountable mail items. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, possess a valid North Dakota driver's license, be able to lift 70 lbs, work in all weather conditions, and reside in the local area. The position requires the applicant to provide their own dependable vehicle with specific load space and insurance requirements, and they will be responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs. Vehicle reimbursement is provided in addition to hourly pay.

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age
• Valid North Dakota driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area
• Provide own vehicle with 120 cubic feet of usable load space (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
• Vehicle must have $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance
• Pass a drug test
• Have a criminal background history that meets USPS standards
• Provide a three-year work history

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties
