About The Position

The Mail Acceptance Specialist contributes to client satisfaction and mail vendor relationships by ensuring all shipping and receiving within the HC3 warehouse is performed efficiently and on schedule. This role's focus on successful shipping and receiving within the warehouse ensures that production teams have ready access to the inventory they need, and completed products are delivered on time and in good condition.

Requirements

  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
  • Able to interact with employees and clients at all levels.
  • Attentive to details.
  • Able to use pallet jacks, pallet wrapper, forklift (forklift training will be provided)
  • Able to move rolling carts containing cartons of printed documents weighing up 600 lbs.
  • Able to lift and move cartons of printed documents weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Able to lift and move USPS pallets weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Administrative work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certified; HC3 can certify internally if candidate not already certified

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of USPS mailing standards/requirements, and all HC3 software applications used to manage mail.
  • Reconcile job documents and close completed jobs in accounting system.
  • Coordinate local USPS mailing, inspection, and acceptance by USPS personnel.
  • Update and distribute mail reports as needed.
  • Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and forklift.
