About The Position

This role involves operating various machines to produce components according to specifications. The machinist will be responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring the quality of manufactured parts, as well as performing routine maintenance on machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manual machine shop or tool room department.
• Experience reading blueprints and work instructions in English.
• Experience with measuring devices to ensure the quality of the manufactured components.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping.
• Select appropriate machines (Lathes, Mill, grinder) and load material.
• Select tools and cutting conditions.
• Define and manufacture tooling fixture/JIG required to manufacture the parts.
• Check output to ensure consistency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Operate the machines safely.
