This position involves operating CNC machines, including turntables and platforms, to perform various machining operations. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, logging setups and tooling, and working from programming and operational data. The machinist will interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work instructions, compile records, and perform repetitive assembly and adjustments. They will use precision measuring instruments, set up and operate numerically controlled machine tools to close tolerances, and maintain tools and equipment. The role also includes active participation in team problem-solving, advanced troubleshooting, providing skills training and mentoring, testing products without supervision, and flexing into other areas as needed. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM.
