About The Position

Do you want a challenge working with all types of materials, weldment, and castings? AC Tool is the shop for you! You will be responsible for performing setups, programing, and part producing. You will have the gratification of taking unprocessed material and transforming it into something polished and precise. Our machinists are expected to maintain their machine and work area, develop their own programs, and produce their own setups for jobs. Potential to become a machine lead with decision making authority. A.C Tool is a Contract Manufacturer of OEM & Replacement parts for the machine building industry and more. Our company produces parts in small quantities to large runs. We are successful in our tight tolerance parts that set us apart from our competitors. We are a 24-employed, family-owned company. Requirements

Proactive mind set
Turning center / Machining center experience
5 years minimum experience
Read engineering drawings/prints
Able to use a vast range of inspection equipment
Understanding Metric and Imperial measurements, being able to perform conversions
Understanding of G and M code, & Mazatrol programming efficiently and effectively.
First piece inspections- must be accurate and efficient
Understanding the correct function of a tool and being able to set it up properly
