Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent
2–5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Completion of a machining apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on training
Experience with Esprit CAD/CAM or CREO Manufacturing software
A Q‑Clearance (or ability to obtain one)

Responsibilities

Independently operating advanced precision machining equipment—such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines—to ensure parts meet strict customer specifications.
Interpreting technical drawings, sketches, and specifications while applying shop math to plan and execute accurate machining work from start to finish.
Selecting proper tools and fixtures.
Determining machining sequences.
Performing finishing and hand‑tool operations.
Verifying quality using precision measurement instruments.
Monitoring machine systems for necessary adjustments.
Working across multiple information systems.
Supporting smooth operations by collaborating with customers, support teams, and supervisors.
Coordinating and managing materials throughout the machining process.
