About The Position

This is more than a machine operator role. It’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement. At Mate, people build long-term careers because they’re supported, challenged, and appreciated for the work they do. In this role, you’ll set up and operate CNC and conventional machines and machining centers to produce precision components while meeting quality, productivity, and delivery expectations. You’ll work with blueprints and GD&T requirements, inspect your own work using precision measuring tools, and troubleshoot issues to help keep production running smoothly. You’ll also collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems, improve processes, and support continuous improvement efforts such as 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping. Success in this role comes from strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to support the team.
