Requirements

3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency with Mastercam (multi-axis experience preferred)
Strong understanding of machining processes for both vertical and horizontal milling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models
Experience selecting tooling and developing efficient machining strategies
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR (citizen or national of the United States; or lawful permanent resident of the United States; or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Nice To Haves

Experience with Mazak Smooth Control
Familiarity with Mazak Palletech systems
Working knowledge of Fanuc controls
Experience with high-mix, low-volume or production environments
Exposure to automation and palletized machining systems

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for vertical and horizontal milling machines
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to create accurate toolpaths
Select appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters to maximize efficiency and quality
Set up and prove out new programs on the shop floor, troubleshooting and refining as needed
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and maintain tight tolerances
Maintain organized documentation for programs, setups, and revisions
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department
Perform other duties as needed and assigned
