Requirements

  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Mastercam (multi-axis experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of machining processes for both vertical and horizontal milling
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models
  • Experience selecting tooling and developing efficient machining strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR (citizen or national of the United States; or lawful permanent resident of the United States; or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mazak Smooth Control
  • Familiarity with Mazak Palletech systems
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc controls
  • Experience with high-mix, low-volume or production environments
  • Exposure to automation and palletized machining systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for vertical and horizontal milling machines
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to create accurate toolpaths
  • Select appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters to maximize efficiency and quality
  • Set up and prove out new programs on the shop floor, troubleshooting and refining as needed
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and maintain tight tolerances
  • Maintain organized documentation for programs, setups, and revisions
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned
