About The Position

Elite E/M is seeking a skilled, hard-working and highly motivated Vertical CNC Set Up Machinist. The CNC Machinist is responsible for set up and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision machined parts.

Requirements

• Experience working with vertical CNC machines
• Proficient in set-up and operation for Vertical machines
• Have the ability to independently complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Cell-Systems and GD&T
• Possess strong written and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Hass vertical machine experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Work on complex assignments and producing high precision machined parts
• Must be able to setup, operate and make tool adjustments
• Can load different tooling and identify correct tools
• Must be able to inspect own parts using basic measuring tools
• Keep machine tools in clean and working order
• Work independently in a team environment
• Take pride in workmanship and possess a positive team-oriented attitude
