Requirements

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
• Must have a good attendance record
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to work from heights – up to 60’
• Must be able to wear a respirator
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example demonstrating clear understanding of proper work methods and procedures with use of tools and equipment
• Ability to adapt and change duties based on current scope of work needed to be performed
• Periodically check in on coworkers running production parts and inspect parts, while performing their own production
• Test Slice and Figure logs for production cutting on saws
• Perform intricate machining processes to repair parts or rejected parts
• Assist S5 with the setup of tooling needed for specialty parts
• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
• Train coworkers on technical and soft skills to be successful
• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
• Must be able to work hours outside of the normal shift
