In this role, you will impact the quality and timeliness of manufacturing outputs, supporting Honeywell’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction by delivering precision-machined parts that meet or exceed industry standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in precision machining with a strong understanding of CNC and manual machine operation.
In-depth knowledge of interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing parts.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure quality control.
Familiarity with machining software and programming languages relevant to CNC operations.
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
Candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.
5+ years of experience in a machining role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in precision manufacturing.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and processes.
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve technical issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
