About The Position

As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in precision machining operations, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet exact specifications. You will utilize your advanced machining skills to operate and program complex machinery, troubleshoot issues, and maintain optimal workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Boyne City, MI location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact product quality and manufacturing efficiency, contributing directly to Honeywell’s commitment to delivering reliable and innovative solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and work instruction specifications
• Perform setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality output
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
