Requirements

Proven experience in operating and programming CNC and manual machine tools in a manufacturing environment with a focus on precision machining.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials to produce parts that meet tight tolerances.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify part dimensions.
Familiarity with machine maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques to ensure continuous operation.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or technical certification in Machining Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a machinist in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and experience with CAD/CAM software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation of machining operations and adhere to safety protocols.
