About The Position

As a Machinist - Level 2 at Honeywell, you will support the manufacturing of aerospace components by producing parts with precision and quality. You will help ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards for safety and performance. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is based onsite in Urbana, Ohio, on the first shift.

You will set up and operate CNC machines, inspect finished parts, and work with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Applicants must meet U.S. person requirements because of export control laws: they must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in machining or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee, due to U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
