We are seeking a Machinist to join our team. In this role you will responsible for setting up, operating, and programming conventional and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. This position requires advanced knowledge of machining processes, tooling, inspection techniques, and the ability to troubleshoot complex machining problems. This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

Requirements

  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience developing fixtures, tooling, and machining processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and multi‑axis machining, including CNC programming and CAM software
  • Knowledge with manual machines such as lathes, mills and grinders
  • Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement practices
  • Advanced machining, precision inspection, and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
  • Effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and mentoring capabilities
  • Experience in precision machining and CNC operations
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, materials, speeds, and feeds
  • Proficiency with precision inspection instruments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
  • Perform high‑precision machining and optimize CNC programs
  • Select tools, workholding, speeds, and feeds for machining operations
  • Inspect parts using precision measurement tools, including CMM
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues
  • Support process improvements and assist engineering teams
  • Maintain equipment, document work, and follow all safety and quality standards
